Have you decided which is true and which is false?
Let's examine each "fact" in more detail:
1) I am an American. My family came to America from England 300 years ago. This is TRUE! There have been Earnests living in England for about 1000 years. There is even a small village which was named after my family:Milton Ernest
About 300 years ago, some members of the Earnest family came to America. They lived in the mountains of Pennsylvania. During the American Revolution they were attacked by American Indians who were friends of the British army. My great, great, great, great, great grandmother Eve and her two children were not killed. They were taken by the Indians and then sold to the British army in Detroit, hundreds of miles away. Here is a picture of her grave in Pennsylvania:

Here is an old photo of her house:
As America expanded westward in the 1800's, so did my family. They followed the frontier west until they reached Iowa where my father was born in 1932.
2) I lived in 8 different states and went to 6 different schools. This is TRUE. American families often move or change jobs. My father liked to change his job so we moved many times. It was hard to leave my friends and go to a new place every few years. Sometimes we had to leave because we had no choice! When I was a high school student, our home was destroyed in a big flood!
3) I went to university for 9 years. I studied history, archaeology, and politics. This is true. I hated high school but at university I could study anything I wanted to study. You can study many different subjects because the rules are very flexible. In Japan, you cannot change your course of study very easily. However, universities in America are very strict about one thing: if you don't study, you will not graduate! If you fail just one class, the university may ask you to leave! Remember: In America, everyone can go to university but only a few will graduate!
4) I was an archaeologist. I worked in Belize. I was a Maya specialist.
This is TRUE! While I was a university student I worked as an archaeologist. I worked in an ancient Maya city in the small country of Belize. This is the website for the place I worked for three years: Caracol. It was a very hard job! We lived in the rain forest where there were many snakes, spiders, scorpions, monkeys and jaguars. It was very hot in the daytime and very cold at night. We lived in a small camp without any modern conveniences like electricity, running water, or flush toilets.
The nearest town was 50 miles away over jungle trails. It was tough but interesting. Caracol was once a large Maya city of about 300,000 people. The Maya built huge pyramids over 15 stories tall....much bigger than anything in Tsuchiura.

We were the first archaeologist to explore the city so we made many amazing discoveries every day. I often had to excavate graves or tombs of Maya kings! It was exciting!

5) I used to work at Disney World. I hate Mickey Mouse. He is my enemy!
This is TRUE! I worked at Disney World in Florida.

I worked at the Wilderness Lodge hotel:
I didn't like working there because the salary was very small, only about ¥500 per hour! You also have to be nice to everyone...even rude people! Mickey sometimes visited the hotel and he once tried to attack me because I saw him changing into his costume!!!! Evil Mickey Mouse!
6) I was a soldier in the US Army. I was a peacekeeper in Haiti. TRUE! This was a very hard and dangerous job. I was a soldier for three years. I went to Haiti as a peackeeper. My job was to stop the fighting between the Haitian people and try to rebuild the country. It wasn't easy. Here are some photos:

7) My wife is Japanese. She can speak English so she works for an American company. This Is TRUE. Very few Japanese workers in her office can speak English. Because she can speak English she keeps getting promoted to higher positions. Now her salary is three times my salary!!!!!! So, if you like money....learn ENGLISH!!!!
8) I have 6 children. Their names are Shinosuke, Hideki, Torakichi, Hirohito, Tome, and Fred. NOT TRUE!!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
9) I like cats. I have two. Their names are Sasuke and Hikadu. They are fat and lazy! This is TRUE!!! Here is a photo:
10) My home is in Florida. It is a very hot place. There are many alligators there! TRUE!

There are also many beautiful beaches and NASA!
